Week4 PartB

Sydney's Apothecary would target young teens with acne or middle age women looking for healthy skin products with anti aging properties in our products. Or even just people with sensitive skin or with skin issues which for me personally I so happen to fall into all of those categories. We not only specialize in skin products but also in hair care products for damaged or dry hair to help bring the hair back to life. To get a better idea of our surroundings we will conduct research of the the area around us to get a sense if in the area there are plenty of young teens to middle age consumers. What we will use for our research tool will be the U.S. Census Bureau and as well as www.business.gov for national data about businesses that are similar to mine.  Demographically for our target would solely be on gender, age and income, with a age bracket of young teens to middle or later age but even that is a wide bracket. Gender wise would be mainly on females but inclusive to me as well. T

Week4 PartA

For Armstrong Garden Centers when I just take a quick look to me it looks like the website would appeal to maybe middle age to older generation because they offer a wide variety in their plants. On Rancho Vista Nursery's website they look like they appeal to a younger generation because it's trendy to like succulents and cactuses. Armstrong's website from a basic observation shows all kinds of tabs and options they have for their business. The reason why I think they would appeal to middle age or to an older generation is because they offer landscaping/designing and classes. Which to me would be something middle age or older generation would be interested in.  Rancho's website to me would be very appealing to the younger generation who like plants but don't want to quite commit to a whole landscape or can't because they don't have their own homes yet. I say this because they offer succulents and cactuses which are one of the most easiest plants to take care

Week3 PartB

For my future business I hope to open one day is based on real natural products I created myself from my own garden. I've been trying to use vegan all natural products but for me it's hard to trust a company claiming their products are natural. For me, big companies could easily just say their products are natural to earn even more revenue because it's a "trend" these days to have "natural" products. By opening my own business I hope to create a personal bond with my consumers to gain their trust that I made everything by hand. To create that trust is by showing the ingredients on the label but the ingredients are easy to pronounce because they're from the garden not a lab.  Since it is an all natural based business I would use a logo to be the face of my brand and represent myself. My logo would be the Celtic tree of life, which is an Irish symbol, I have Irish in me so for me the tree is kind of a personal tie to myself as well as it also shows na

Week3 Part1

 1) Penny Juice For Penny Juice the Ease of use is just very simple, they have three pages but two of them are actually one instead of separate pages. Their use of contrast is non-existing besides for their letters being black, other than that the website is full of pastel colors. The concept is there however, they don't offer a menu of their juices they just say they have a wide variety which doesn't tell the potential consumer what to order. Penny Juice's website does not come across as being professionally done because the simplicity of the website. You can still have a professional easy to use website but when it is very simple it does not look professional.  Their website has no rhyme or reason to it, on one page the banner has children on it then the next page the banner has fruit on it. Nothing pairs together, it is all out of balance. I feel like what would improve their website would to just pick three colors, one for contrast and the other two to pop against the c

Week2 Part2

The Body Shop https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-us/ The Body Shop is a shop with a wide variety of skin care items like, face washes, toners, lotions, etc. They offer vegan and vegetarian items. The shops are usually on the smaller side but they are placed in a good amount of cities in California. They are an international company located in the United Kingdom.  The Body Shop does have links on their main website to their social medias that they use. They use Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter. I don't have an Instagram but what I could tell it looks like they use Instagram a lot because they post on there and they have 2.4 million followers. On Pinterest it looks like they post a good amount but they only have 50,000 followers. On Facebook it looks like they post more on there because they have 9.8 million followers. It looks like on Facebook they post about every other day, their last post was on February 2nd. I don't have a Twitter account either but from what I can

Week2 Part1: Blog Post

B usinesses communication methods has extremely changed in just the last two decades that I have been on earth for. I remember watching the ads on the television about toys or even plastic containers, from when I last watched actual television there was ads for everything. I haven't watched actual television in awhile now.  Once social media grew corporations jumped to join it and use it for advertising and eventually for communicating directly with their potential consumers. This has opened more communitive ways for users to receive quick responses, support, suggest new products, and feel as if they have a closer relationship with the products and brands they love. People feel like their voice is being heard now with the quick responses that consumers receive.  Social media can either be beneficial or can be hard in getting noticed or having your problem solved. Everyone goes to the internet to either fill out a survey for companies or leave reviews, both work well when it's o
