Week16

 Having many social media management tools available for you is great but can make things overwhelming on what one you should do and is best for you. From looking at the article that was provided it showed a few social media management tools and what their cons and pros were. These tools help you manage your schedule with an auto scheduling tool, publishing calendar, and many other tools. The one that stood out to me was the Hootsuite social media management tool that you can try out for free for a month and you can try their other tools available for a month for free as well. They offer a free plan and if you feel like you want the professional plan instead it's only $29 per month. You can combine up to 10 social media platforms on there to better organize and follow properly through them as well as having unlimited auto-scheduling and a publishing calendar. For me I think this management tool would be worth a shot to try the free profile and see if I can work my business up to being a professional profile.

    That is really interesting to hear that Hootsuite offers a free plan as well as a free trial. It's nice to be given options instead of always having to spend more money. The tools that are offered would be a huge timesaver for larger companies and I really like that you can combine 10 different social media platforms.

    Hi Sydney,

    I agree that social media can be very overwhelming a social media management tool is a great way to relieve some of that stress. I originally chose Sprout Social; however, after reading yours and some other classmates blog posts I am thinking that Hootsuite is one of the better options. It seems to have more pros than Sprout Social.

 Since the type of business I plan on starting is all about skin and hair care I feel like it is a personal kind of business. My Theme

 For the theme, I chose a nature background because I love nature and being outside. When I'm out in nature all my worries go away and I can notice all of the little things nature has to offer. Being outside is my happy place, whenever given the chance I'll be out in the middle of nowhere observing all around me. I also love the color green so, it added a nice touch to my theme.  I don't have any experience using social media as a platform for a business, but in speculation I personally feel like Facebook would be a good start to use as a platform. Facebook is a nice balance to use your personal account as also a business because your friends already know you personally to where they can share your content for others. Then others can see what your business is and also get a glimpse of how you are which is important when starting a business.

Week10 PartA

 I think for my business I would send a weekly newsletter to keep the engagement in tact and with updates about products. The kind of content I would use for business would be weekly reminders for placing orders because everything is produced by hand with fresh ingredients. It would also announce any new products that I am ready to produce as well as our story and how our business works for consumer insight. I think consumers would enjoy being kept updated on when to place orders and new products being produced because I believe it's unique and I say this because I have only seen one other business do this but not as much. So, doing it weekly would attract attention and if it's something that someone is interested in they could look forward to that with updates as well. But of course they can opt out if the weekly updates are too much.
