 Post reach and post engagement are both important to your business page on Facebook because post reach is reaching out to target consumers whom might be interested. It shows up in their news feed and notifies them so, it catches their attention to where they would take a peek at your page. Since it caught their attention then it would resinate with them making them a potential consumer. Post engagement is a consumer showing interest in your page by either liking it, commenting on it, or sharing your page with others. Engaging in a post shows the consumer is interested in what your Facebook page has to offer and they would more likely reach out to you for your services.

Studying both parts are important because you can get a better understanding of who is your audience that you are reaching towards. You can see who can be a potential consumer and who is really engaged to more likely be a consumer. Using Facebook insights helps anyone in a business because it's collecting data on your audience which provides you with more information to better serve your consumers. Knowing more about who is following you and liking your page makes posting more, easier for who created the page.
