Week15 PartB

 One Month Rough Draft

The plan I came up for the rough draft is I decided for Monday to be the day that I open a list of products that I offer to produce and people to place their orders for whatever products they want. I will leave that open until Friday at 4pm but I will also post reminders when it closes on my blog and on my Facebook and Instagram account. Then from when it closes for the orders on Friday I will gather all of the supplies needed for the products people placed an order on and that leaves me Saturday and Sunday to produce those orders and fill them. Then on Monday I will ship my orders out and the list will reopen again on Monday. But I also plan to post on social media everyday between the times of 12pm and 5pm with pictures of my products to catch any potential consumers attention to maybe want to place an order too.

 Since the type of business I plan on starting is all about skin and hair care I feel like it is a personal kind of business. I think being personal in this kind of business is very effective because I've been to plenty of skin and hair care shops that are just business which for me made me uninterested in coming back. To me adding personal touches to my posts would attract peoples attention because I have a lot of skin issues and just issues in general with finding products that help soothe my skin. My Theme

 For the theme, I chose a nature background because I love nature and being outside. When I'm out in nature all my worries go away and I can notice all of the little things nature has to offer. Being outside is my happy place, whenever given the chance I'll be out in the middle of nowhere observing all around me. I also love the color green so, it added a nice touch to my theme.  I don't have any experience using social media as a platform for a business, but in speculation I personally feel like Facebook would be a good start to use as a platform. Facebook is a nice balance to use your personal account as also a business because your friends already know you personally to where they can share your content for others. Then others can see what your business is and also get a glimpse of how you are which is important when starting a business.

Week10 PartA

 I think for my business I would send a weekly newsletter to keep the engagement in tact and with updates about products. The kind of content I would use for business would be weekly reminders for placing orders because everything is produced by hand with fresh ingredients. It would also announce any new products that I am ready to produce as well as our story and how our business works for consumer insight. I think consumers would enjoy being kept updated on when to place orders and new products being produced because I believe it's unique and I say this because I have only seen one other business do this but not as much. So, doing it weekly would attract attention and if it's something that someone is interested in they could look forward to that with updates as well. But of course they can opt out if the weekly updates are too much.
